Karate - Kata - Kumite - Kobudo - Staff Seminars

      
 

Shehan Kyoshi Nishime along with Sensei Ben and Sensei Jason Nishime offer seminars that take martial art skills to the next level.

  • Kata Seminar: Kata is also known as forms. This intensive seminar is conducted by Shehan and Sensei. Katas are demonstrated and then taught to attendees. Technique, timing and style is the focus of this seminar.
  • Kumite Seminar: Speed, power, techniques, rules are not only taught but thoroughly practiced in this fighting seminar.
  • Kobudo Seminar: The Yamanni-ryu style of weapons is one of the most highly sought training styles available today. You will have the opportunity to learn both long and short weapon forms. There is also the availability to test and earn a belt level in this seminar.
  • Staff Training: Treat your staff to a private seminar so they may learn how to teach Shorin-ryu and / or Yamanni-ryu to your students. Shehan Nishime, Sensei Ben Nishime, Sensei Jason Sensei, along with Sensei Mary Beth Nishime are known as the best at breaking down the complexities of karate into a simple formula for teaching students.
  • Curriculum Development: Nishime Family Karate offers curriculum for Yamanni-ryu weapons that will help you teach Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced classes at your dojo allowing you to earn more income and give your students enhanced classes.
  • Private Lessons: Make your students the best they can be by gaining insight from Nishime Family Karate's vast knowledge of tournament competition, specialized training, kata and fighting techniques and weapons training.
  • Self-defense: Learn how to defend yourself. Techniques are taught and everyone practices these techniques so they know how to use them. Women, children and men are encouraged to take self-defense class. No martial arts experience is needed.

    If you have a large group that is interested in a seminar you can arrange to have a special seminar held just for your group. Seminars are typically held at the dojos or hando of Nishime Family Karate which is in the Greater Cincinnati, Ohio; southeast Indiana and Northern Kentucky tri-state area.  We are also open to having seminars on location depending on where you wish to hold the seminar. Travel and lodging expenses must be provided for all instructors if they are to travel to your location.

    The cost of specially scheduled seminars is based on the number of students and the duration of the seminar. The more students, the cheaper the rates per student. If travel is involved rates will be adjusted accordingly. We offer both introductory as well as advanced seminars. Seminars may be half-day, full-day, or multiple consecutive days depending on the level of training desired.

    No martial arts training is required for taking any of the courses. We welcome all styles to attend our seminars. Any previous training will only help to accelerate the learning process.
