Nishime Family Karate has made it a practice to “give back” by providing free seminars to various groups in the community. From hosting Girl Scout and Boy Scout groups at our facility to teaching Self-Defense for Women at area businesses, we can design a program to fit your specific needs.
Some local organizations we have worked with in the past include:

Nishime Family Karate can bring the many benefits of Karate, like increased focus and concentration, self-discipline, respect for teachers and other adults, and bully-avoidance strategies right to your school or organization!
Our instructors can come before, during, or after school for:
- After-school Karate Programs
- Self-Defense Classes for Teachers, Parents, and/or Students
- Gym Teacher for a Day
- Demonstrations
- Classroom Talks
- Bully Avoidance Seminars
We can present information not only on Martial Arts, but also on Japanese and Okinawan culture, history, and language. Our after-school programs have provided fund-raising opportunities for scholarship fund and P.TA.’s and P.T.O’s. Best of all, most of these services are part of our Community Outreach and are no charge to your school.
